We’ve received many questions over the past two days about how McKesson plans to help organizations digest what an ACO means. Achieving the Pharmacy of the Future

This year marks the 22nd year I’ve come to this meeting and I have to say, the ASHP Midyear meeting never disappoints. The “Mid”year—which humorously enough always comes just before the holidays at the end of the calendar year– is loaded with news, management and clinical sessions, new products, and people from all over the world in the largest annual gathering of pharmacists anywhere.
Work better, and more will come.

Change is not simple. As human beings we are wired to avoid changes because any type of change, even change for the better, involves a level of discomfort. We naturally gravitate toward comfort zones; we seek pleasure and avoid pain. The same is true across health care today.
